That has the added bonus of Omnislash's cost being cut in half. It's later when you can either race chocobos, or play the snowboarding game (neither of which unlocks until Disc 2) that you can start getting a lot of GP. Pretty much the only way to get GP is to play the bike game, and that only rewards 10 GP a go. He can show up at any time, but he's very rare and you can only buy up to 100 GP (I always thought it meant "Gold Points", since it's the "Golden" Saucer, but anyway).Īnyway, getting Omnislash during your first, or indeed your second story-related trip to the Golden Saucer is going to be a painful slog. That guy has nothing to do with the airship. Getting Omni Slash is such a pain, Meteor rain can suffice though. I was so loaded at that part in the game, that I could buy pretty much anything.
